Anyone heard of Rivals of Aether? Apparently like Smash. A lot of my friends who play Smash have got into it.

I think I'm for sure getting:

Tabletop Simulator
Shadow of Mordor
The Sims 3
Left 4 Dead bundle

Then I have a few nostalgic games I'm gonna grab:

Age of Empires 2
Grim Fandango

Then a point and click style game I haven't played that looks fun:

Kelvin and the Infamous Machine

I didn't even hit like 1/3 of my wishlist though, but this will do for now.

Civ kind of reminds me of Age of Empires

except civ is turn-based

another option: get civ5 vanilla and see if you like it. if you do, then snap up the DLC next time it's on sale. civ5 complete is a bundle, so you'd only be paying for what you don't already have.

highly recommended, especially for couch co-op and especially if people are bringing their own controllers

I got it, it was $15 on Amazon with free shipping today but apparently that ended minutes before I saw it... So I got it through Steam and had to pay for shipping.

Oh man that could be just what I needed. I was thinking the other day it'd be great to play Ultimate Chicken Horse when I have friends over and this would solve that. Can you have up to four? I read something about only three USB ports

Just checked mine - only 3 USB ports. But it's still one of my most valued purchases, I use it all the time. Would recommend over and over again

wireless, bluetooth, use a hub, connect it to the PC, etc, etc.

the link is incredibly controller friendly, even with mixed controllers (including flight yokes and steering wheels, etc). it's built for four, can handle eight, and you can even do sixteen with a ton of fiddling (and if you're fine with that much input lag).

idk how I never heard of this before now. In the past I've just had people pile into my computer room whenever we want to play a Steam game (:

I'll look through the sales on my day off probably. Nothing sticks out in my mind as something I REALLY want to get right now. I think last time I bought a bunch of shit I never actually ended up playing.
