Watched Moneyball earlier today. It wasn't the first time I've seen it but it really is one of my favorites. I guess if you're not a sports fan you wouldn't enjoy it but I consider it a must watch!
There's Something About Mary
Oz the Great and Powerful
Don't Tell Mom the Baby Sitter's Dead
Wreck it Ralph
Identity Thief

Never Been Kissed
i think NICE is the best way of putting it. i didn't think of it as being the PERSONALLY DRIVEN MASTERPIECE that some critics said, but it was very sweet and well-intentioned. I liked how SMALL and anti-climactic it was, and Sacha Baron Cohen's character highlighted that. A lesser movie would have made him more of a BAD GUY but he actually gets a really touching story.
Just watched THERE WILL BE BLOOD. What a movie! I'm gonna be digesting it for a bit more before really formulating my opinion on it but it's easily my favorite DDL performance and it was ridiculously beautiful visually. The LOOK of the oil in particular stunned me. Also I always thought Paul Dano was a bad actor and now look (:
WHAT A DEPRESSING MOVIE. Even if both of the girls ended up living and Jackman's character maybe ended up living too.
tbh I was a bit disappointed that Alex had anything to do with anything. I'm glad he at least wasn't the MASTERMIND but I think it would've been better if Jackman's character was so obsessed with him for nothing.
Overall very good tho! Kept me guessing right up until the end
Captain Phillips. Fantastic. Unbearably tense. The dynamic between Hanks and MUSE (not sure of the actor's name) is wonderfully compelling. The way the circumstances just keep ESCALATING is powerful. And there's also a slight empathy for the pirates (i was worried it would treat them as CARICATURES). You all should see it!

Almost saw it today. Hanks is MAH BOY. I'm excited for it

Literally my favorite movie of the year thus far.

I love the struggle of Jackman's character. How he couldn't say, "as we forgive those who trespass against us" in the Lord's Prayer. I had to half look away when Jackman's grabbed the hammer during the torture scen because I though he was going to destroy Alex's hand.
Every scene was so purposeful. What a great movie.
Good but dark and not very NICE little movie! I've been meaning to watch it for awhile and I'm glad I did. Adam Scott is so terrific in it. He should do more serious stuff. J.K. Simmons was also very good
Finally got to see We're the Miller's, which was pretty funny. And just watched The Host, I liked it as well, stayed pretty close to the book which I always appreciate.
A lesson without pain is meaningless. That's because no one can gain without sacrificing something. But by enduring that pain and overcoming it, he shall obtain a powerful, unmatched heart. A fullmetal heart.
