At work we often find empty packages of things that people steal and then throw on the shelves.

Today I found a empty package of stolen padlocks.

So basically someone stole something to keep other people from stealing his stuff

It's easier to get the love of a dog than it is the love of a cat
As merchandis(merc but it autocorrected funny so im leaving it ) poetically put

depends on the dog tbh. It took like a week for my dog to warm up to me, and now she'll growl at pretty much everyone that's not me or someone she intimately trusts. So basically like a typical cat but more threatening (:

and I don't mind the walking or anything at all. The last few years I had been doing pretty minimal exercise, and now I'll run a mile just about every day with my dog. It's a great motivation. Makes them happier and you healthier

Also depends on the breed, German Shepherds tend to require a lot to earn their respect. Though there are some exceptions, the sister of my dog who is aggressive as fuck and hates just about anyone licks everyone she meets.

There was a cat that would always hang around my dad's sandwich shop down the shore and we would feed it and whatnot. One day I was on break and was petting the cat because I assumed they liked to be pet and the thing jump at me and scratch me all down my arm. I haven't liked cats since

Did you pet it on the belly?

yes

And yeah, I never walk my dog. We just let him outside and he comes back to the front door and barks to come inside when he's finished with his business.

Though I can say the same thing about cats, there is a rare cat that also can be nice, I had this horny cat a long time ago that keep doing this weird mating call that sounds like "Helwo" who wave was very nice to people and never stops asking for petting, hell he was nice with the dogs though even though they "play" with him. He was smart enough not to put up a fight since they could easily kill him like any other neighborhood cat that was unfortunate to end up in their stomping grounds.

I think this pet discussion needs it's own thread. Three pages of cats and dogs!

The same thing happened at my job during April-May of last year, Craig! I think my manager at the time secretly fucked me over because I was told to keep my phone on me. I didn't get a single call or text for a week after I worked on a Monday. On the following Sunday, I texted my manager, (I had texted her before with no answer) and she said she was still "working on it." So I waited until Monday afternoon and asked again. She finally said I could come in that Wednesday.

So I come in and look at what needs to be stocked (I was working in produce, btw.) and went to the back. I got a little curious and looked at the schedule and saw that I had a shift scheduled the past Sunday, and underneath it said "No Call, No Show." I was a little dumbstruck, so I stood there and whipped out my phone to send my manager a message, since she wasn't there. After I sent it, this guys comes in asking if I'm Mason, to which I reply yes, and he says he's the new manager and, "You need to go talk to a manager, because you no longer work in this department."

So I go to talk to a higher-up manager and he tells me I no longer work for (insert Company Name here) because I didn't call about not being available Sunday. I tried to argue that my manager didn't tell me to come in Sunday, but I don't think he was listening. I should have shown him the texts between my manager and I, but I was pretty upset, so I got out of there as fast as I could.

I still think my manager planned it, because she was a bitch. Coincidentally, my manager at. Little Caesars was a bitch, too.

I wish I had your luck at finding jobs/ didn't have the worst social anxiety in the world. I only have until the end of the month to find a job.

I just ripped some skin off my tongue without realizing it until I saw blood on my ice cream. I'd gotten part of the tip stuck on the spoon and pulled it off without thinking because I didn't know it was stuck that bad. I can see the little skin patch on the spoon. It's creepy.

No idea. I would've taken a picture of my bleeding tongue but it healed while I was eating.
