I will say that when I brought a sword back from Prague that I tried to carry it on, but they made me check it in my luggage. I was sure that between Prague, Amsterdam, and Dulles that the sword was going to go bye bye (it was wrapped in cardboard and taped to all fuck, but still was broadsword shaped and pretty obvious what it was). It somehow didn't get stolen. I was pretty amazed. And yes, I tried to carry a sword on a plane. This was '97 and the entirety of the story is actually pretty awesome. And I've never heard of someone using a broadsword to hijack a plane considering I don't think I could even swing the thing in an airplane cabin.

Haha! My friend successfully brought a samurai sword home when we went to Japan. No one really questioned why a 14 year-old boy wanted a samurai sword.

But yeah my dad travels to Europe a lot for delegation meetings and every so often they have meetings in the Middle East, so I'm just curious as to how this whole thing is going to go down with government property.

Not if he's implicated in the intelligence findings as well. He was also part of the campaign so his hands will not be clean either.

Honestly I'd rather have Trump than Pence.

Trump is just as unpredictable to the Republicans as he is to the Democrats and if he remains as unpopular as he is then the Dems can use that to pick up seats in the midterm.

The last thing the Dems need is for the republicans to rally around President Pence and use the narrative that the Dems ran Trump out of office to keep Trump's voting base in their pocket.

If Trump gets impeached then he needs to do it to himself. They just need to keep giving him rope to the point where he hangs himself and the republicans dont have a choice but to jump on board to get rid of him.
