I'm starting to wonder if I'm getting scum read, simply because I'm one of like 3 people who haven't claimed yet.

It's also a higher post volume game so far so people who are unclaimed AND with lesser posts will come off as more suspicious

I was 9th highest poster out of 23 on D1, 8th of 21 on D2, and almost in the top half of D3, even though I've only been around for a bit. I'm definitely not a 'low-poster'.
