What’s a nexus serial killer? Also, I don’t think I’ve ever been in a game with a cult. What would be the likely number breakdown in a game this size?

It varies. Some cults start with multiple members, some recruit, some don't, The recruiting can be limited or open ended.

And some can kill sometimes having to not recruit when they kill. Basically it depends on the mod.

Nexus auto-bounces any action used on them onto a random target. SK kills, so Nexus Serial killer would do both.
