As a businessperson, if I was flying any of those airlines I would be pissed. Putting electronics in checked baggage is basically saying "Here, please steal this!"
How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat?
As someone who doesn't understand politics/know what anyone in the comey hearing is, can someone tell me what happened and if its good or bad for trump
drrrrr @ 9/11/2017 18:03
I was wrong about Jamie he is a true visionary and I name him my successor
Basically, Trump was on the cusp of exposing the Reptilian agenda in Washington and how they planned 7/11, but the powers that be have dashed the God Emperor's plan with fake news that he is in a homosexual relationship with Putin.
Comey is investigating these claims, because if Trump is indeed Putin's gay lover, that poses a security risk to the USA...imagine the state secrets Trump might give away to Putin during pillow talk...very serious stuff.
- Hearing was discussing the wiretap bullshit that Trump tweeted about and got everyone in a tizzy. FBI Director and National Security Advisor were both called to testify.
- During hearing, Trump tweeted to reiterate that he was wiretapped and that any ties to Russian was fake news.
- Congressman in hearing pulls up the tweet on his phone, reads it out loud, then asks FBI Director is there is anything factual in the tweet.
- FBI Director says nope.
- FBI Director also says that while they usually do not comment on ongoing investigations, due to the high level nature of this one, they indicated that they are, in fact, investigating Russian ties with the Admin, in addition to potential Russian actions to influence the election.

Not to mention it's likely to cause a lot of damage to people's computers. The way workers man handle luggage is always really rough. Disregarding fear of my electronics being stolen, I'd just be worried about them getting severely damaged in transit.
Will government workers get exemptions from this policy? It seems insane for someone with a government computer or other device to have to check it in a piece of luggage. I wonder if they'll have a diplomatic immunity type of thing.

Not sure, since we had a server crash and I haven't been able to follow up yet.
I will say that when I brought a sword back from Prague that I tried to carry it on, but they made me check it in my luggage. I was sure that between Prague, Amsterdam, and Dulles that the sword was going to go bye bye (it was wrapped in cardboard and taped to all fuck, but still was broadsword shaped and pretty obvious what it was). It somehow didn't get stolen. I was pretty amazed.
And yes, I tried to carry a sword on a plane. This was '97 and the entirety of the story is actually pretty awesome. And I've never heard of someone using a broadsword to hijack a plane considering I don't think I could even swing the thing in an airplane cabin.
