I wish death metal was better... or I guess I wish I liked it more. I really appreciate the use of horror movie clips by a lot of the bands.

tbh I don't get the difference between death metal and black metal. I was listening to an Emperor album a few days ago which I believe is black metal? And it wasn't doing anything for me. Much like that song you posted.

Emperor is definitely black metal. I only know this because, well other than google existing, my friend loves all of this bullshit. And really gets into subgenres and all of that. I think it is all based around a scale that measures how many churches your band has burned down, and how many band members you have murdered and used for album covers.

I can't stomach most of that stuff. I think the heaviest stuff I enjoy would be like...a few tracks by Slayer. So mostly just thrash metal, which I do enjoy.

I can usually find one song by each band that I like if I'm inspired to look hard enough. Like the Deicide song pages ago, but yeah. I don't disagree with your stance.
