Gender dysphoria is a real problem that a lot of people have to deal with. Trivializing it by comparing it to some sort of self congratulatory state is a bit fucked up

In all honesty, i think this is all just first world problem bullshit. I'm sorry your life sucks because you want to be a girl but you have a ding-dong, there are millions... MILLIONS of people in this world DYING because of disease, war, and famine, but if you feel the need to kill yourself because mommy and daddy won't cater to your every whim then have at it hoss.

It was more than her parents not approving though. Her parents pretty much did everything they could to change her. The problem may not be as critical as famine and disease, but it is still a major problem that needs to be solved.

Lol really Chris? They sent her off to therapy and actively refused her claims. It's not like she wanted an xbox and couldn't get it. This is her being actively denied of her idenity and being in a situation where she felt she would never get to be true to herself. It's a dark place to be for sure. And equating this to just a first world problem is a little short sighted as i'm sure it's even worse in countries where you'd probably be killed for even having these thoughts.
