Sleepy Hollow rewatch. Quite a bit different from what I remember it being, haven't seen it since I was much younger. A bit better than I thought though, it's a nice Halloween vibe if anything. The decapitations are clean af

The Thing! Wasn't planning to watch it but i was looking for something to have on while my new cat was sleeping on me and i could do anything else. Great movie! I want to see it again and pay closer attention but it was amazing

Somehow i never knew the thing looked like that! Was PRETTY SURPRISED!

That's the goat right there

It makes for a great rewatch too. There are tiny clues everywhere and a lot of fun theories

Watched Sound Of Freedom in the cinema last week. Reveals a horrible reality that no one ever wishes to think about; glad I watched it though.

Poor Things - Good! Wish I liked it a liiiil bit more but I think that was mostly due to a bad theater experience, made the movie feel overlong and it started to really drag towards the end. Stone/Dafoe/Ruffalo were all great. And my boy Ramy was good!

Dream Scenario - Really fun concept. Cool editing at times to go with it. Didn't quite nail the third act for me but I really enjoyed it

Watched knock at the cabin last night. Wasn't anything incredible but kept my attention the whole time. Was pretty interesting and Dave Bautista was actually really great. Definitely stole the show

Thanksgiving - V fun! Would enjoy a sequel and a dumb mini franchise. Roth's best for me

Saltburn - Pretty predictable but still fun enough. Everyone's good in it. Music is fun. Story is a little silly

the bathtub scene in Saltburn is the most uncomfortable thing I've seen in some time

movie def wasn't as good as Promising Young Woman but it was fun in a trashy thriller sort of way

Self Reliance 2023 3.5 stars.

I really enjoyed it right up to the end. If you’re a Jake Johnson fan as I am, then you should enjoy it. Had they spent just a few minutes on the ending I’d have easily given this 4 or maybe even 4.5 stars. Anna Kendrick was her usual adorable self, the quirkiness was just right, it flowed effortlessly and was very unpredictable. Just didn’t care for the end.

Never Hike Alone 2

The third and final part of a Friday the 13th fan trilogy that I've been checking out over the last couple of years. Good stuff if you're into oooole Jason! Features lots of callbacks and cameos. All three are very well done for a fan film series

Actually while I'm at it, I watched this horror short months ago and remember liking it a lot (I forget a lot of it now)
