can't tarantino make another movie these days? or al pacino in something? maybe a scorsese movie with leo again? clint eastwood should do one certainly....and what about that tom hanks guy? can't he and steven spielberg cook something up?

I have no ambitions to watch movies lately...it's not that I don't want, it's nothing's there to watch recently..and I am not in the mood for rewatching retro movies from the 80's and 90's for the hundredth time...

Dredd - It looked silly to me but I kept hearing that it was surprisingly good. It was tbh. It wasn't anything INCREDIBLE but it was cool and had some beautiful slow motion violent sequences. Karl Urban was good in it

The Collection - I loved The Collector. This was good. A rare horror movie sequel that expanded on the plot and didn't just repeat it. Didn't have as many great stand out sequences as the first one. The first one was shot so well. HOWEVER, one scene involving a flickering light bulb was filmed so perfectly. And the ending was fantastic

I'm gonna see The World's End tomorrow. I loved Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz and this is supposedly just as good if not better. Anyone see it yet?

OH! And I watched Clear History. The HBO movie with Larry David

It was....Curb Your Enthusiasm the movie haha. There was zero difference between Larry's character in this with his Curb character. The situations he got himself in, the things he pointed out about people's behavior, etc. It was all exactly the same. Even Leon was in it. But I'm not complaining! I thought it was hilarious. Really funny supporting cast of characters. And it was all shot on Martha's Vineyard and takes place there, which is close to me and one of my favorite places so that was kinda cool

Hell, I forgot they made a sequel to the Collector. That movie really was fucking awesome. I loved a lot of the music they used and the whole idea of it. Plus it was cathartic to see the woman that played Denis Leary's bitch wife on Rescue Me die.

Tracking the new one down immediately.

Greenberg - This movie was..weird. Not what I expected really. Ben Stiller is reallyyy good in the lead role, but his character is very unlikable. He has very few redeeming qualities and his interactions with people are always really uncomfortable. The main actress is perfect and really convincing in the role. Rhys Ifan or whatever his name is is also very good in this. I'd say that I liked it. It wasn't LOL funny but I did find a lot of humor in it, and the dramatic parts about LYF were all really good

never saw Hot Fuzz but i'd actually rank this above Shaun of the Dead. i may still be in the POST MOVIE HIGH but it's easily the most i've enjoyed being at the movies since Django
