The Jimmy Saville Netflix doc. Vile man to say the least!

Pretty average telling of the story though. Didn’t learn much of anything new across the ~three hours (two part doc) that we didn’t basically know or assume after the first ten minutes

We're The Millers

Had not seen this before and I liked it. Had a few really dunny scenes and cast was pretty good

Uncharted

Really enjoyed it. Nothing great and some over the top action scenes but that's expected in movies like this. Reminded me of tomb raider meets national treasure

The girl with the dragon tattoo

This was a great movie but wow there were 1 or 2 scenes that were incredibly difficult to watch. Rooney and Craig were excellent

You should watch the Swedish version. I liked it better (but both are good).

Honey I shrunk the kids

Still awesome

Dog

Thought it was a kids movie so started watching with kids. It's definitely not a kids movie. It's pretty good and worth the watch if you have 2 hours to kill.

The art of self defense

Weird movie. It's nit bad but definitely has a niche of people it was made for. Jesse Eisenberg always knocks it out of the park

Had a covid movie day.

The Batman

Eh, it was way tooooo long. First half was really slow and boring. It was ok but eh. Paul Dano killed his role as Riddler though. And Zoe Kravitz is hot.

Dr Strange, Ant-Man, and Ant-Man and the Wasp

Rewatch marvel movies I wanted to rewatch for awhile and didn't have time

Watched The Lost City on Plex thanks for Plex God. Better than I expected but still what I expected. Brad Pitt was great. Sandra Bullock somehow hasn’t aged

The Lost City

Boring and not that entertaining. Had a couple fun y parts but don't waste your time. Even katy said is was a boring romancing the stone

Sonic 2

That was full of nostalgia and goodness. Jim Carrey is perfect as Dr Robotnic

Blinded By The Light

I loved this movie so much. Very good. Right in line with Sing Street and Yeaterday

Top Gun: Maverick

Way better than it had any right to be, I liked it a lot. Great editing and tense action sequences and just a simple but well plotted movie overall. And a memorable third act. Far exceeds the original, maybe the best increase in quality from original to sequel that I can think of. Certainly one of the best anyway

A few too many instances of the repeated line trope but that's my one real gripe

Crazy how they shot the movie too, a ton of it was practical and the actors were always really up there with someone flying them. They would have to start and stop the camera on their own and act out the scenes with no feedback. P cool

Worth seeing in Imax, one of the better blockbusters in awhile. My first Imax movie in over two years since it finally reopened here

Navalny. Documentary about an activist leader who opposes Putin and surprise surprise, finds himself poisoned one day!

"Follows the man who survived an assassination attempt by poisoning with a lethal nerve agent in August 2020. During his months-long recovery, he makes shocking discoveries about the attempt on his life and decides to return home."

It's very good. There's a phone call segment partway through that is amazing
