I was expecting my phone to hold out until the new year at the very least, but it looks like it's more of a question of whether it'll make it the 15 days to Christmas. I'm not sure if I should just give up and trade it in before then, or if I should forget about it until after and deal with the fact that I might not be able to make snarky remarks to FE during Christmas dinner at my aunt's.

Mine will not charge no matter what I do so I'm about to be in the same situation I think.

Mine is taking hours to charge, losing the charge in almost as much time, and now the little dropdown keeps dropping down every 15 seconds. The light sensor is dead. So's the front camera but I don't care about that.

I might try uninstalling everything that isn't bare essentials or doing a factory reset. I highly doubt it will work but I really don't wanna give up my keypad.

Mine's been having problems recognizing the charge. It has to be in like a very certain position for it to start and lately I've been coming home to my phone near dead with the charger hooked in.

Now I don't get the charge notification at all, no matter how much I wiggle it. Phones a piece of shit, I can't even carry it on me anymore with how faulty it's been. But I still reallllly don't want to lose it now when I'm flat broke.

Do you have any kind of replacement deal with your phone company? I think my replacement is free after 2 years (which it's been), though I probably have to pick from a specific offering.

Also the charging issue sounds a LOT like my old Droid 2 at the end of its life.

My friends say it's good, but I've never actually tried it.
