that RT summary
Neill Blomkamp's return to low-budget, high-concept filmmaking bungles some interesting ideas, adding up to another Demonic waste of the writer-director's once-promising talent.

Watched the Bin Ross documentary on Netflix. Pretty entertaining and odd life he had. Greed ruining his mark on the world |

Godzilla vs Kong
It felt like I was watching a wrestling match for the most part. I've already forgotten most of the human character's names.

People in 2021 on reddit still get strangely pissed and patronizing when you say you liked Prometheus and don't care when they start talking about dumb characters and the trajectory of crashing ships.

Do me a favor. Go outside and throw a ball or a rock up and away from you. Does it keep going away? Or does it mysteriously fall right back into your hand? |
Actual quote. I might carry out this science project just to be sure.

I liked it! Despite any flaws
It's such a hilariously divisive movie you're right. It's up there with Last Jedi in terms of recent divisive movies

yeah think a lot of had to do with it coming out close enough to Lost ending that people were ready to tear apart whatever he did next (def would've happened with D&D's Star Wars trilogy if that went forward, although that prob would've been deserved). You can nitpick plenty about it but I really liked the broad strokes/ideas, it's a SOLID movie
and only looks better in retrospect after, ugh, Alien Covenant
