"Where could it have gone?" she wondered to herself about the shape changer. Above, the sky was dark and wild. She did not like the thought of that and considered retreating back into the tower, but another thought drowned out her doubts. If this creature could do this to her, than others could as well. I must find a way to counter this.

Feeling pretty stealthy and not seeing the wolf, Alia left the confines of the tower and moved behind the nearby bushes. To the west she saw the red woman. Back further more bushes. She took in a deep breath and moved toward further cover.
