Tomorrow War. A fun flick with some questionable plot holes. I enjoyed it but I don’t think it’s a modern day classic by any means.

I think the movie fails when they come back to the present time. The Government not wanting to follow up on them going to Russia made no sense, and then the fact they found the ship and decided not to tell anyone and just go in was also really dumb. I also did not care about the relationship with the father. The relationship between Mira and her farther was really good though.

it's just a big fun sci fi adventure.

A Perfect Getaway (2009)

I watched it mostly because Timothy Olyphant was in it but it is a good cast. It's about couples vacationing in Hawaii and learning of a pair of killers who murdered another tourist couple, and then the couples becoming paranoid about who the killers are.

I was only paying half attention to it and I figured it out a third of the way in. There are lots of clues peppered in if you are paying attention (and even if you're not). So while I found it predictable, I do like the way they told the story.

and I wouldn't be surprised if it applied to a lot of other people as well.

I watched Boss Level on Prime yesterday. It was pretty fun. Another one of those big summer type action movies.

This movie could have been so much fun instead too many forced storylines and obvious bad guys. Just dissapointed.

Space Jam: A New Legacy

Thought it was fine for what it was. I'm very nostalgic for the original. Wasn't expecting much watching this which I think helped make it better to me. It's a fucking kids movie. And I think a lot of adults forget that when watching movies like this. Only thing I really didn't care for was all the weird throat shoving of random and completely out of place WB properties during the recruitment sequence. Seemed like some weird Superbowl commercial for WB than anything else.
