Yesterday, I was on a bus with a lot of Amish people. I'm pretty sure they were speaking Swedish the whole entire ride from Buffalo to Wooster (OH) until they got off.
This short film popped into my head when I was trying to decipher what language they were speaking and realized they were speaking the language of whatever is spoken in Ingmar Bergman films.
Might have been Pennsylvania Dutch?

My sister and I used to pretend we understood it and would give them shocked looks when they would talk. I do know a little bit but not enough to follow a convo, just pick random words.

I just sent out some e-mails to a few professors to meet with them so they can write me a letter of recommendation.I don't know why I'm so nervous to hear back from them, I got A's in their courses and they all knew me by my first name. Just a thing I guess.
Also writing the LSAT next Saturday and freaking out a bit before applying to law schools.
Even though people say there are no jobs, I'm making a bad decision, etc. The way I see it, I've always wanted to do this, I'm not just doing this because I had no idea what I wanted to do, and I don't care if I don't get in with a big firm, as long as I'm just practicing (provided I get in, haha). Still stressful. This only impacts the rest of my life, lol.
I guess there's always a paralegal if I can't get into law school too though.
Earlier I wanted to buy some Christmas stuff and a few other things for myself, but the shipping was a ton. So I had to add a bunch of things to get the cart to $35 and actually pay less thanks to amazon's free shipping once I reached that, but everything I actually wanted wasn't counting towards the 35, so I had to buy a bunch of shit i'll never want or need.
One thing I go was purple hair dye. This is going to go very, very poorly.

The dye had a coupon so while it added about 5 bucks to the total I got 3 dollars back on it.
It'll probably just sit in the cupboard until summer when I can pawn it off on my cousin, but a small part of me is tempted to try it. I've always kind of wondered how I would look with purple hair (most likely fucking terrible). It will still not be as bad as the month I was a ginger.
