Chapter 7: Three way

Lamps stood over the corpse of Gmaj.
"Good riddance," he said.
"What now?" Spin asked.
"How about Curtis!" Ahoda yelled.
"This man is scum," Curtis said in response.
"Seriously can we coalesce?" asked Nav.
"Ahoda, Mittens or Curtis! Let's decide."
"How about all three?" suggested Penner
"That's not happening," said Spin. "It's gotta be Mittens! Get him!"

They looked around but Mittens was nowhere to be seen. Finally they spotted him hiding up in a tree. It was a very small tree, though. Everyone got together and shook the tree until finally, Mittens fell out. On his head. He was a bit dazed but got his bearings and started to run. Curtis ran after him and tackled him to the ground. A bunch of other people piled on, as well, crushing Mittens.

"Hey that reminds me of Tom Brady and football," said Penner. "I love football."
"We don't have time for this now," said Spider, jumping on as well.

Finally, everyone got up and backed away. Mittens lay on the ground smashed like a bug.

Mittens is dead.


"Grandpa, did they really talk about football?"
"No, I made that up. That would be silly."
