I don't know if it totally counts as playing (it totally does), but I've been beta testing Final Fantasy XIV, aka FFXIV: A Realm Reborn (because they destroyed the game (they also literally destroyed the world in-game with a giant moon prison made for Bahamut and it was awesome) and remade like everything).
The new dev team has made huge improvements over the failed version 1 and I look forward the final release in August. | |

Fröken, seriously, RDR is one of the finest games ever produced. It is worth every cent. Trust me. You HAVE TO pick it up. You can ride into the sunset, sunrise, desert, town, countryside, mountains, through snow....taming horses, racing horses...and there are lots of other cute animals like armadillos rabbits or raccoons too and you can feed them if you like...WITH BAIT....and then you go into DEAD EYE mode and in slow motion aim at the head and BOOOOM HEADSHOT:::..lel
I got carried away....sorry. As I was saying...the environment is stunning. I just ride with my horse through the country for hours, sometimes fast but mostly slow. I gallop. It's amazing!
BUY THIS GAME...tomorrow (for PS3 if possible) | "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."

By far the best I can remember though is when I mastered pickpocket and got the Perfect Touch perk that allows you to steal equipped armour (along with the one for stealing equipped weapons). I'd spend a great deal of time running around every guard in town, stealing all of their armour and weapons and dumping them somewhere unreachable.
Then I'd start a killing spree with only a plethora of unarmed guards to stand in my way and watch happily as the citizens walked around, shaking their heads at my handywork.
I've never gotten past the fifth or sixth quest on the main storyline. |
Sneaking up on people and stealing their shit, always great fun in my book. I had that perk aswell, was totally worth it. You'd fit right in with the thieves guild, Was/is it possible you ever get in contact with them if you're only a few quests in the main story line? | "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. I always lol when people accidentally execute their horse online |
I managed to do this literally six seconds after acquiring the first horse I acquired in the game. I went running into the desert as soon as I could, found a horse, jumped on it, then promptly fell off the edge of a cliff. As far as I could tell, all four of the horse's legs shattered on impact, but the game couldn't decide whether the horse was actually dead or not, because the ride command came back up. I hit Y, and Marston walked towards the crippled horse and was just about to jump on when the horse died. Instead of just stopping, Marston just switched directly towards the Y action for a dead animal - skinning it.
So I had to walk all the way back to town, but at least I got a fancy horse pelt out of the deal. |

I actually have yet to run into a cougar, (did find a jackalope today, though, and was pretty annoyed since I thought I'd finally found a fifth rabbit to get my Sharpshooter rank 2 cleared BUT NOPE), but there have been like five times where some random bastard will run up to me and beg me to save him from a pack of coyotes / wolves, and by the time I actually pull out my gun, they've already bitten the guy to death, so then I feel like a horrible person.
And what's worse, their corpses never have any good loot. |

Playing the walking dead game from telltale games. Pretty good! Just finished episode 1 |
I gotta replay that before Season 2 comes out. Was so amazed by the game after I finished it that I decided to start a new save just so I could be a dick to everyone and see what happens. Proceeded to save over my original one. Fuuuuck. :(
Not that I mind, that was one of the most incredible games I've ever played. Nothing has made me more emotionally attached to characters be it a video game, television show or movie. Just wish I still had something to work with that had decisions based off my original instinct. |
Finally doing my replay of the Walking Dead Game. 400 Days came out today but I'm only on Episode 3. I really, really want to play already, fuck me and my stupidity :(
It is interesting playing through this slightly different though. Figured all that would change would be a few dialogue options and different characters saying the same shit. Saved Carley this time instead of Doug like I did in my first playthrough and it ended up completely changing Episode 3. Pretty neat.

yeah those random encounters with people running from wild animals....not worth saving them most of the time...lel.
just like you, I accidentally ran into that jackalope while hunting....uhm...armadillos I think.
on cougars: go to FORT MERCER, they're around the mountain regions there...OR near bonnie's ranch where the boars are roaming aswell | "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."

I always use to encounter cougars around Blackwater. Fucking assholes they are. Never noticed them and they end up murdering my horse with one chomp and killing me before I could react. |
