I think the game will end when we find Mafia. And I think it's Stargate, or maybe Zach.

I went back and read Stargate and Zach’s early game posts and I could see scum cases for both for very different reasons. Stargate was mainly pushing for Curtis and Rose, trying to get on Vern’s good side bc at that point Vern was the main town voice and people listened to what he had to say. And I think we can all agree Curt and Rose weren’t the most active of the scum team so throwing them under the bus early to get in good with the town wouldn’t be a bad move at all.

Zach. however, failed to give much input at all. It was mostly agreement with other things people said, filler jokes, etc. However after I claimed my role I distinctly remember him saying that it helped clear things up, and this was a full day before the Nav info came out once Timmah got outed as the town doctor. That chain of events: realizing Timmah visited Nav, then realizing that he must have visited Nav to protect him as scum doctor, and outing the information when it was most necessary gave me very strong town vibes at the time.

JJ, how do you feel about doing Vern as a possibility? Everything he posts is trying to get the vote onto me. That's what a sk would do, especially now that he knows he can't kill me at night without wasting an attempt.

I think Stargate is the best choice today.

That'd be literally the dumbest use of the Hollywood vote. Is there anyone who doesn't think you're someone who would put that vote on yourself in a random round where you felt safe? Then use that as an excuse later in the game as to why it couldn't be you?

Well, if we lynch him, we would definitely need to get mafia right tomorrow. If he's not SK, he has to keep his promise not to kill but I'm with you that he could be SK. You're also a consideration for me because I don't see a vig just having one daykill. That could just be an add-on for mafia. There was a sole vote which took out a mafia, TIB's role which killed town/mafia (but could've been two town), and then it doesn't seem out of the question mafia has a daykill.

You said you wanted to kill either Vern/Rodney but went with Jackie, maybe thinking she was town and you could whittle down the #s, and that Vern/Rodney couldn't kill you at night. The thing that scared you the most about Rodney was putting you in a lynch pool of 3. Also, I agree with what Matt posted previously about your early lynches on Nofo/Rose/Curt.

I claimed on Day 3 because I thought I killed Wikey.
Rodney and Vern ALSO thought they killed Wikey.
I made a joke complaining about not being consequential.
Zach told me I WAS consequential bc I cleared some things up for him.
I decided not to press.
Mal lynched Timmah and he flips scum doctor.
Zach claims day 4 with info that Timmah visited Nav.

HOWEVER...now that I have that sequence of events written out...it also makes sense that I cleared up his confusion about his result of Timmah visiting Buffy because maybe he KNEW that Timmah visited Nav because they were all scum buddies. Otherwise...why would it be confusing that Timmah visited Buffy in the first place unless he was expecting Timmah to visit somebody else? And how would he expect Timmah to visit somebody else unless he was also mafia?

wow i just did a complete 180 on my perspective of those events. validation is my blind spot

If we go with lynching him, Zach can use his ability on someone else and if he gives us bs we'll know he's lying. Same for Mal. We could have Mal look at one of Zach's tags. We don't actually need a potential SK to give us a promise he won't use his kill tonight.

I went with Jackie because I wanted to confirm for us whether or not there was a cult. If there wasn't, it seemed we were very close to winning. If there was we'd have a lot more work to do. I didn't expect there to just be Perry who was a part of it, or for him to die with her. Did you? I was very clear on my intent there. I thought with Jackie dead, we would then lynch Rodney, and Perry could use his block on Vern to limit the kills at night.

Why would I be that concerned about limiting the kills if I was mafia? Why would I care about them killing me at night when their first attack won't work on me. It makes so much more sense that Vern wants me lynched because he knows he can't kill me at night. There's no reason he should still be pushing for me, but he has been. The moment I get back it's a sea of Vern posts all trying to clear Zach or find reason to do me.

My early lynches were the obvious lynches to make each of those days? Nofo scum slipped the color red. Rose seemed to be quitting or not trying. And neither her nor Curtis voted that first day and are who I said we should go for even over Nofo, I think?
