I just typed up a resume and have it saved but I'm keeping my options open. This is what I've wanted to do with my life since I was 16. If I was still stuck in the meat department, I would have done it in a New York second but being a supervisor is the biggest responsibility I ever had at my job and I know if I walk away from it, I'd have to start from scratch if I come crawling back should this not work out.
It's a morning job so theoretically I could work both, but I'd never sleep or have any free time to speak of. But shit... the amount of money problems I'm having right now and the chance to get paid to do something I truly love would be cool.
I'm putting together a resume for the first time because I think I'm going to apply to AMC theaters. If anyone has worked in a theater before and advises against working there do tell me, but it seems like for the most part outside of the customers it's probably an ok environment to work in and better than the boring job I have now. I'm into movies so if I work at a movie theater I could ramble about movies more I guess.
The only thing that makes me rethink it is the fact that I'd likely not be able to see midnight releases or friday night showings of big movies anymore because I'd be working I'm sure. Watching other people go in to see the movies.
My brother got a job at a wearhouse and he starts tomorrow and pretty soon it's basically going to be just me at the job I'm at right now and the boss won't be hiring anyone because it's slow most of the time but I only came back here because I was really low on money (broke actually) and I was too lazy to put together a resume to apply somewhere else.
There's other places I could apply to besides a movie theater, I just think it sounds kind of nice. Like it would be a cool experience to have.

I have my job interview tomorrow. I'm a little excited/ nervous, but I'm sure I'll get the job due to my past experience. It's a job at an animal kennel, so it should be pretty simple. I like working with animals. I'm hoping that I'll get hired and start working again, but I have that fear that it'll be like Little Caesars in terms of me hating it after the first few days.
Gold card members can get the Chestnut Praline Latte from Starbucks today. It's p.good. Definitely felt like the holidays when I was drinking it. Still think the Gingerbread Latte will be my go to.
