Watched infinity war, end game and stuber this weekend. Liked all of them. Captain marvel is so fucking underused in the whole marvel franchise. She needs 66 more movies, just about her.

she is really OP and would pummel any foe in anything she is in. Also, fuck Brie Larson. No one wants to see her on screen

1-She's the most badass superhero.
2-She's the most badass superhero.
3- She is actually a superhero, not some wealthy douche with a gadget suit, whiny assed deer hunter, or other sloppily constructed male character.

She would be pretty OP against most bad guys.
I assume that's the lady who plays her? Not sure why anyone would hate her?

They're making a captain marvel 2 right now, so phasing the character out is definitely not in the plans. Even though the traditional demographic is men who shit their pants at the thought of a strong female of any kind.

Is the actress a crazy anti vaxxer or something?

She’s an outspoken feminist and that makes the marvel fan boys upset :(

I’m sure the movie sucks but the more insecure fans were already completely against her from the moment she was cast

p sure any superhero can be considered the "most badass" if they simply decide to give them the most powers. She's dull af as a character though, they forgot to give her an arc or a single flaw/struggle to work through besides...learning to become more powerful?

Wonder Woman was such a better example of a fairly well-done female superhero

WHEW! A24 ‘horror’ strikes again. This was so good. I was in a total trance from start to finish. The opening dance number was mesmerizing. Some really cool camera movements throughout that do a great job of disorienting you, I didn’t know whether the camera was upside down or not half the time towards the end

I made the mistake of watching Climax right before I went in for work and it really fucked up my whole day. It's one of my faves from A24 cause I feel like they really took us on the trip with them. Also one of those movies that I'm never sure who I could actually suggest it to because it was SO out there.

The struggle was not to learn to be powerful. It was about learning to accept and trust herself so she could break free from those who controlled her, and take a big shit on the norm. It was a pretty in your face and not at all subtle shot at society. It was an attempt to do what the black panther movie did as a social commentary. I liked the movie. It was fun, but they could do so much more with the character.

Wonder woman story arc has always ignored the reality of society and created a woman controlled culture that stayed separate and hidden by magic so nobody had to feel insecure about it. It's an incredibly cowardly work around. That said the action, the effects,and gal gadot being awesome made it one of my favorites.

Wonder Woman vs Captain Marvel movies no real comparison.

WW was well done, well plotted good pacing and enjoyed the characters.

CM just seemed to drag, Larson wasn't likable in the role (seemed off, and to the fanboys didn't like her argument I've gone out of my way to watch several of her other movies, I've enjoyed several of them)

Just turned to my wife and asked her what was better WW or CM

"WW. CM wasn't that great."

Watched the Platform on Netflix. Decent movie. I liked the concept and the thoughts the character goes through, and felt the acting was good.

The ending sucked.

Watched invisible Man. It was pretty mediocre, imo.
