They redirect DS, not the target. They don't have to know the target. They would take a chance at DS hitting scum, but odds are he hits town.

Do people here get messages if they survive an attack? I've never seen that before.

Targetting Ahoda or merc would have been the common play for you, imo.

Some games, the mod will post who survived. ie: "Nav survived a kill last night."

Really sucks when they do that and you get lynched as town BP or because a doc saved you..

Some mods don't announce kills, but usually tell you if you survived. Sometimes they won''t tell you if you were saved by a doc, though.
