Honestly, Herm could go either way for me, but the jaime play is so sloppy and awkward if they were teammates. What would be the point of claiming he used THAT on teammate Jamie? He probably knew he would be pushed on that claim, and he didn't know Jamie was going to be dead here, right?

I mean, you can claim its a sloppy scum play or a scum slip or something but town Herm overthinking the significance of actions he was involved in makes a lot more sense to me. And a lot of the people calling absolute bullshit on it feel like they're trying a little too hard for a guilty verdict instead of taking the stance of town trying to understand what herm is actually saying.

To be fair, lightning rod roles have to go first for good reason. Since this is more of a redirect role it makes sense it would go first too.
