Curt, watch them both. Both are top five seasons imo.

But yeah watching HvV play out was just like wtf how did that happen over and over again

I didn't get spoiled for HvV either but it's one of a handful of seasons that I'd rewatch at some point

HvV was great but it's better if you know all the survivors already. Right?

I think most returnee seasons are way better when you watched everyone play individually. It adds a lot to the storyline and also seeing how they adapt (or don't adapt) from their first time out. Also past relationships are fun.

Like someone watching Game Changers right now who hadn't seen HvsV wouldn't know anything about the JT/Cirie feud. Or if you didn't watch FvF, you would have no idea why Cirie and Ozzy are needing to hash out anything at all.

I actually wouldn't mind like one boot and an hour and a half like how australian survivor did it. But I think it's clear Survivor has a tough time even holding an hour time slot now, so that's a bit much to ask.

That's fine. They also lost a whole month of airtime because of another CBS show.

cable ratings aren't even close to broadcast network ratings, they're not really comparable. And CBS is currently the king of network TV ratings

ratings don't really matter tbh as long as they stay consistent at this point.
the strong part about Survivor is the big demographic spread. from children to ur grandpa, it's pretty wide. advertisers dig dat shit
