so, miss Alia, how do you wanna do this! | |
Alia gasps at what she maybe sees, a spooky spooky skelington. It's been so long that she doesn't remember if she's seen this monster before of if this is the first time. Could the fog have peeled away its flesh? Her skin goosebumped at the thought and beads of sweats began to form all over her body. Was this the last competitor she needed to kill? She wasn't sure. She had to slay it to find out.
"There can be only one!" Alia shouts and goes into a blinding rage.
The stones beneath her feet feel like clouds as she moves from one to the next, advancing on the spooky spooky skelington in stride. When she reaches the final boulder she leaps into the air, sword over head, and recklessly brings the blade down onto the skelington's shoulder. Then she spins and turns, her sword blade flashing as she goes to lop off the monstrosity's head. |
The skelly skull leaps into the air, cut clean from the spine. It flips onto the bushes with a sloppy thud and rolls off into the unsavory water below. Alia holds her sword out to the still standing skelington and presses the sword's point toward what looks to be its sternum. ' There can be only one.' With that thought emblazoned in her mind, Alia skewers the scary thing for good measure and kicks it from her blade.
She could feel renewed energy swell around her and within in. She could feel her power growing with each and every kill.
Her breath came ragged through her lips. Had this been the last contestant or another monster let loose by the King? She surveyed her surroundings, eyeing the fog suspiciously, ready for whatever was to come next.
She felt like she could take on anything thrown her way, even the King himself. All she worried for now was the fog. Would it stop? She studied the tree tops. Did they pierce fifty feet of fog at their peak? All this and more ran through her head in the silence that followed. |
