Shadowheart was the very first character I stumbled upon after the crash, and she told me to stand back cuz she didn't trust me. I called her bluff and stepped forward which immediately forced me into combat in which I felled her in one hit good start!

what was the character customization about exactly? Was a bit confused, I assumed the first screen was just about selecting backstory and that'd be applied to the character I created. Did I just create an NPC? I made a book accurate Daario Naharis and was excited to play as him ;(

If you're playing as Lae'zel then you didn't create a custom character, therea are a few playable characters that are pre-made with their own story.

Larian recommended making a custom one for the first run, probably so things like killing the healer in the beginning are less likely to happen unless the player really wants to,
You might want to create a new game lol (and not select one of the origin characters this time).

He did create a character regardless, or at least he made their appearance

apparently what I created was a 'guardian' but that's about all I know. Regardless prob gonna do a full reset, was only a couple hours in at least

yeah this game slaps, it took me a little bit to get into it but I'm addicted now. They really did a perfect job recreating the feel of D&D beyond just the ruleset, it's crazy the amount of creative solutions they let you come up with in every single encounter

Act 2 has quietly bullied me into putting magic back into my party. I was greedily just jumping and hitting everything with warhammers.

My computer is kind of shitty right now but I'm seriously considering upgrading just so I can play this game lol.

Did you finish? What are your non-spoiler thoughts on Act 3? I'm closing in on it and I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about it. Both performance wise, even on great computers so I'm getting nervous, and content wise.

There was a seemingly small, possibly game breaking bug I hit early so I decided to put act 3 on hold until after patch 1.

Started a Dark Urge paladin run in the meantime, accidentally broke my oath while I was sleeping.

Whoops.

I just hit Act 2 and I wanna hold off a bit cuz I've heard similar things about Act 3, problem is I'm too addicted to put it down :( Hopefully the patch(es) drop before I get there

I've already been hitting minor bugs in Act 2 after having basically none for the first 35+ hours, not shocking I guess since only Act 1 is in early access

I moved into Act 3. I will report any major bugs or hiccups I run into.

Really looking forward to doing a more purely evil playthrough. I've done a few evil things along the way, mainly not shying away from using the tadpoles and trying to push them on my team, but my barbarian is still generally heroic.

I mostly can't wait to slap tieflings around in a new life.
