Let's shoot for starting late weekend/early next week. I figure each round will last a week or two, to allow people enough time to listen to the submissions and then vote.

Yeah. I'll just be posting a list of the songs for each person (and maybe a spotify link?) for the first seeding round. I may try to do videos for the head-to-head matchups, that way people don't have to leave the site to listen.

I'm going to close signups on Saturday, so if you are interested in participating, let me know by then. I'd also like all submissions by Sunday afternoon (US Time), so I can try to put together the initial lists and get them posted Sunday night.

You can send me your lists at any point now. I've already received Vern's, and it's a doozy.

I had to axe a lot of songs to compile a list of 8 songs lol. It was a fun process.

I reworked and reworked my list. I think only 2 songs from the first incarnation survived.

Eep, 25 songs on my shortlist that is not even finished. It helps that 9 songs are Weezer songs and I can only choose one. How painful though.

I think not going with the GREATEST HITS makes this fun, but it's hard not to include some that are just very meaningful to you.
