Rob kind of did this to himself. Was he screwed regardless of how he handled it? Probably. But this isn't Redemption Island and the Buddy System just isn't a strategy that's gonna work most times, especially not with winners, and even more so on a five-person tribe in what's now a twist-heavy game. I still think he's one of the best, but this episode showed he's a couple steps behind the new school with the vote and his idol comments. | naonka : saus:: bill:

I mean Ben/Adam kept Boston Rob in the game so long to use as a shield, just to vote him out when they didn’t need too.

I don't think it had anything to do with the "buddy system." That's really all he could do to try to ensure those two dorks didn't f him. He was screwed as soon as they lost the challenge.

I officially hate everyone left on that tribe now that Rob's gone. I hope they get decimated.

They are also down 9 to 7 in total people, they couldn’t know about Sarah/Sophie’s advantages but that makes it worse.
Plus they are the weakest tribe and now find themselves in a 2/2 split.
I get Rob is annoying but I really don’t like this move for my boy Adam. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

Probably true, I guess I just don't think that did anything to actually help him. His best bet was probably to get the two girls to think Adam is a weasel, but maybe that wasn't even a possibility. | naonka : saus:: bill:

Yeah maybe. He's a very linear strategist and probably thought his best bet was that Ben/Adam would see the benefit of sticking together, which was actually a good idea and now Ben or Adam are screwed if they lose.

Not caught up on the thread and watching now. Damn now I love Yul too.
I had a friend from college pass from ALS about 3 years ago. It’s a brutal and devastating disease.

I didn't even think of this. It's the obvious best route. Basically kill 2 giant birds with one stone. Big oof by both of them. | naonka : saus:: bill:
