I now understand the Big Fish references. Just finished watching it tonight. Was already planning on watching it before you guys started talking about it here. Strange!

I picked cause of death

Maybe you get lucky and get like "parachuting"

I would never go parachuting then!

why would you go parachuting anyhow? I never understood that adrenlaine rush thing tbh. Yes it's dangerous outside and you could die eventually...you could get run over by a car, or hit by lightning etc...but jumping out of a plane is like asking for it

Curious, but why do most of you assume you will die tragically?

A lesson without pain is meaningless. That's because no one can gain without sacrificing something. But by enduring that pain and overcoming it, he shall obtain a powerful, unmatched heart. A fullmetal heart.

I'd want to know the date.

Finding out I'd die of old age would be kind of redundant.

I can't think of a death that wouldn't cause some kind of paralyzing phobia knowing for a fact it is what does you in. Cancer or heart disease would probably turn anyone into a hypochondriac. Car accident? Never leave the house. Finding out old age is what does you in could be nice, but why take the gamble when you can guess that based on the date?

I'd end up having one of those compounded rare diseases from House.

Yeah I definitely enjoyed it. I loved the present day father/son stuff. Felt very real. The stories were a perfect way for Tim Burton to do his usual thing in different ways

Either one would make me incredibly paranoid, but I'd rather know the date. If I knew the cause, every waking moment would be spent worrying that the cause was just around the corner. With the date, you may have the impending doom rapidly approaching on the horizon, which would be stressful, but at least you'd KNOW when it'd happen and could try to enjoy life while you can.
