Great stuff as usual. I think the posts at the start of this thread got me a lil too hyped for it and it didn't quite blow me away, but it was still great. The best scene was by far the lunch scene where they tried to figure out who to throw under the bus. Each one of them pointing their finger at a different person, literally everyone but Kendall being tossed out there. Nearly every relationship between any two people was really highlighted during that scene, I loved it. Roman vs. Frank, Carl being a hilarious weasel, Roman defending Jerri, Shiv being awful to Tom, GREG SPRINKLES
Poor Kendall. I felt bad for him all season but the finale was something else, he looked so broken. I loved Roman defending him when he realized it was gonna be Kendall. After all the shit he gave him all season that was a nice moment. The scene where Logan told Kendall he couldn't have ever done the top job was brutal too. Kendall going after Logan at the end was the best, I can't wait for s3 now. And the ULTIMATE SHARK Cousin Greg! Helping Kendall at the end there with the documents he stole, loved that. Shiv chucking Kendall in front of the bus is b r u t a l after rewatching that "It's not gonna be me" scene where Kendall asks Shiv to take care of it
Tom and Greg are my favorites but Kendall is one of the better recent tv characters
I'm a bit obsessed with this show, it's just the right balance of drama and humor which is something I haven't seen in a while. I'm a big Shiv stan but I felt like the handling of her having an affair was building up to SUCH a big moment and it kind of fizzled out. I hope they do more with that in season 2.
The end was a bit of a GOOP. I was expecting something to bad happen in the car but I thought he was going to end up hitting the man Shiv was having an affair with not Kendall KILLING a whole man. But, it was a good way to wrap things up and tie Kendall back into the family for season 2. I'm gonna start on that TOMORROW. Don't wanna blaze through the whole thing just yet.
