Why do people keep analyzing what happened in the context of a normal mafia game? There is no scum, so if you are implying he gave up because he is scum, well, you'd be very wrong.

This game is pretty simple:

1. Vote to lynch someone not in your faction.
2. Win battles at night to get daykills to kill people not in your faction.
3. Be the last family standing.

I would HAPPILY be Dorian. Hes a fucking BOSS in the books.

The show ruined the Martells. and that is THAT on that.
