I thought Panda was joking yesterday.
But joke or not, people took it seriously, and it is probable that scum hopped on the train. |
I didn't really get a sense of him either way, I just didn't want scum to vote for another member and end the day with a tie, thus, a no-lynch day.

To be fair this is the first time I've ever played mafia with panda. | Please ask me on October 1st if they woke me up. I've literally never heard it before and I'm definitely not tired of it. |

I can't believe I'm typing thes words, but I pretty much totally agree with Henry. I thought it was pretty odd how the whole Panda lynch went down, and I think that probably some of the scum bandwagoned onto him as an easy goat. It did seem like the Drr lynch evaporated suspiciously quickly, and the coordination of the Boc/Drr switches that Curtis mentioned were pretty suspect - especially given that Panda was a town and it seems fairly obvious that the guy had no idea what he was doing.
I'm still more inclined towards Drr, but I'm still not convinced that Greenday isn't scum. He's acting rather suspiciously, and it's eerily reminiscent of the time he was Godfather in Sausage Mafia. |

My thoughts!
LSFissue, Shawn, Korr, Jeff, Justin, Natalie, Grim: didn't say anything that you could really get a read on
Henry, Vernon: idiot town as usual
Ari: randomly voted Drrr and has done nothing else
Dylan: first on the Panda train (as a joke)
Kiwi: was suspicious of Panda's post early on, but waited til the end to jump on
Wikey: joke-voted Ari, jumped on LSFissue when we were tossing around an inactive lynch
Curtis: is doing his usual "sit back and comment" approach without really getting his hands dirty. He does this whether scum or town, so you can't really say either way. But for now I'd lean towards town
Mal: voted Panda because he didn't want a no lynch
Greenday: was very defensive yesterday when he was getting votes that were clearly jokes. Jumped on Panda to give him more votes than himself
Rob: meh, not much of a read on him
Drrr: similarly to Greenday, jumped on both the LSFissue and Panda trains when she had votes on herself
|
I highly doubt that Boc/Drrr/Kiwi are all mafia together and would all jump on Panda at the same time for the same thing. BUT I think at least one is scum and took advantage of Perry's mistake to get him killed |
Agree with this post. Though I would say Drrr/Greenday are more likely scum than Kiwi.
Overall, those are the two that stick out to me, Drrr and Greenday. Drrr jumped from train to train when she was in danger, and Greenday acted defensive all day and bandwagoned Panda. Of the two, I'd say Greenday looks slightly more scummy though.
Though I will say, it's probably just as likely that scum sat back and let the town make itself look bad with the Panda lynch so they could cast the blame on us. I wouldn't doubt that there's ONE scum on the Panda train, but I think that's about it. There'd be no reason for them to risk making themselves look bad so early. And this happens a lot - everybody looks at the active voters and they're easy targets (when they make bad lynches) but the majority of the time the scum will be the ones trying to stay out of the limelight. Maybe someone like Ari or Dylan?

Okay, please explain to me WHY the train on me "evaporating" is suspicious. It was a day 1 silliness lynch that got uncomfortably close to success and based entirely on the grounds of me having a silly schtick that day. There was no genuine argument for me to go.
LSFissue got votes because as the day was winding down there were still no genuine game-based reason to go for anyone (until the :| Perry post), he hadn't shown up at all. As soon as he was proven non-inactive, the vote switched to someone who had made a :| post.
And to Curtis (and Ublaz) I'm sorry, if you think a sudden I TEST X PEOPLE LYNCH Y post is a clear joak and not at all suspicious, you have a very different definition of suspicious than I do! And now that he's flipped town a few of you seem to want to go on saying "it was just a joke, that was so suspicious that they jumped on that, he was so pure and innocent and they slaughtered him."
But you didn't do anything to stop it yesterday. You just didn't get involved on any trains so you could have the high ground today to argue about what all those other people.
I stand by lynching Perry. while he was ultimately town, he was the only person exibiting suspicious behavior that was worth lynching for. Someone had to die, and I'm glad it was the one that there was a genuine case against, even if ultimately he was just making a poorly formed joak. | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

Oh and the Jeff survival IS pretty fishy since there's no way a doctor would protect him last night after making one whole post on D1. But considering there was only one kill there's only 3 likely scenarios: he's BP, the mafia got blocked and Jeff was hit by vig or SK, or Jeff is SK and got hit by mafia. So 2 of the 3 paint him as scum, but obviously it's not enough to go on yet. Definitely something to keep in mind though

Fair point. I was pretty defensive last night and I will admit that. That was more a personal flaw of just the fact that this is my first mafia since SCM and I didn't want to be "that guy that was lynched on day 1 when there's no true evidence to base accusations" after waiting this long lol. | Please ask me on October 1st if they woke me up. I've literally never heard it before and I'm definitely not tired of it. |

I agree with Drr. All the people saying how he was joking etc were strangely quiet yesterday when we sent him. Saying that, I don't even know the post we are talking about that he supposedly joked about lol.

I voted for the person I most genuinely believed to be scum: Greenday. In fact, I was one of the first to vote for him, which means I helped start a different lynch train, and I also said that I thought voting for Panda was the wrong idea, which as far as I know is the definition of doing something to stop it. Sure, I didn't scream it from the rooftops, but that's because I didn't know for certain that he wasn't scum, and I didn't fancy the idea of being left holding the bag if he was. I also ultimately decided not to vote for you because I decided that Greenday was more suspicious and there was good reason to suspect that other people might join that train. If I had voted for you, it could have gone to plurality, and THAT would have created a big mess which would have confused everything and significantly hindered our ability to identify real scum.
As for the rest of your post - I already said why I find you suspicious. I think you're fighting really hard, and you're much more invested in this than anything else I've seen you in of late, so that makes me think that you've got something to fight for. That means you're either scum or you're a prime townie role, and I'm finding it difficult to tell either way.
I'm voting for Greenday again, because, again, I believe him to be the most scummy. If he turns out to be scum, I'm going to assume you're town. If he turns out to be town, then I'm probably going to assume it's you or Kiwi.
