I've seen this type of setup before, the cameras are tied into the door mechanism. If the cameras are disconnected, the doors will lock down.

The three criminals shrug and nod.

"OKAY," says Osmond.

"Good to know," says Kash.

Elvin nods sagely. "It's good to have information like that at our disposal. Thank you for sharing it with us."

Sapphire digs into her backpack and removes a canister of blue spray paint. She moves towards the eastern door, positions herself underneath the camera, and prepares to spray the lens.

Sapphire's a pro, and the East door's camera is easily coated.

Kash says "Nice!" He's pretty impressed.

The brothers are too but they don't say anything.

C'mere Kash, help me out with this door, looks heavy

Kash is always eager to help. He runs over and tries to push on the door. It doesn't open.

He tries to pull. It doesn't open.

He jiggles the handle a bit.

"I think it's locked, Miss Sapphire."

Sapphire starts to snoop around the eastern door to try to find a way in

Sapphire looks around at the area. The lock looks pretty standard, and there's a box next to it with a sensor and a small yellow LED indicator. The door is just locked, not shut down. There's no obvious key anywhere in the area.

"WOT'S THE HOLD UP?" Osmond tries to whisper. It's more of a shout. "JUST USE THE KEY CARD!"

Elvin whispers to him, but it's still loud enough for you to hear. "Don't you have the card, Oz?"

Osmond makes a noise, then stomps over to the door and puts the card to the sensor.

The door clicks, and the light turns green. The door starts to open, and Kash pushes it the rest of the way.

The next room is a tight, metal lined hallway, and on the other side is an enormous vault door.

We should be good, let's pop open the vault and grab the thing

The four of you walk down the hallway, but the brothers quickly pick up speed from behind you and hurry over to the vault, equipment at the ready.

"We'll take it from here," Osmond says with a hand on your shoulder. You got them in to this point, but they're the experts for this.

Sapphire, you lean against the wall and watches as they work, maybe trying to pick up a bit of safe cracking for later, or maybe just because you're bored. Kash stands next to you.

He looks like he wants to say something to break the silence, but then remembers he's supposed to be keeping watch of the door and walks down to guard it and keep it open.

Surprisingly, everything goes well. These two aren't complete idiots after all. They work fast, and the vault door swings open, and the lights inside turn on.

It's almost entirely empty, but for a single object at the center, set atop a small display pillar.

Score. That was easy!

I ask the brothers to grab the object and stash it in my backpack as I hold the opened pack out towards them
