Alright I've got a base file going with the timing all sorted and I just need to splice in people's clips that they record amongst other editing stuff. Keep them coming, this is fantastic so far.

You guys have sent me a ton of stuff, much more than I actually need in some cases. I do appreciate the excess because it gives me so much room to play with additional footage and soundbites but it does mean that for what will be around 3-5 minutes of footage, a ton of actual quality content will sadly end up on the cutting room floor.
It was more important to get as many forum regulars performing a part as possible. Some people I asked to do more than one line in case there were any people who couldn't get to me on time. However pretty much everybody has, leaving only two or three lines unspoken for (most of which I have at least two people who have stated they'll cover it and hopefully still can. If not I can fill it in myself).
So don't feel bad if some of your footage gets axed. I have to make some genuinely hard creative decisions for all this.
I might release a second video after the event with some of the extended recording segments on. A sort of BEHIND THE SCENES. Or maybe include these as an annex at the end of the recorded video. I'll figure out something because it's somewhat painful to remove segments of this. | | |
