Totally agree here. Especially if they are in the spandex shorts. We scream "Go Lance Armstrong" when we see them.

You have to understand:

1) It's a bike route.
2) The sidewalks are designed to allow tons of people walking side by side, yet somehow two people walking next to each other still find a way to suck up the entire thing.
3) It's a bike route.

It's even worse when we get the on-street designated bike lane so we won't be on the sidewalk and either pedestrians or joggers are out in it anyway.

Ok, but in Portland we have lots of bike riders who ride on the sidewalk when they want, ride on the street when they want, only obey traffic lights/ laws when they want, and whiz past walkers without a warning so if you turned into them cause you didnt hear them, you'd be dead.

You haven't met brain dead until you've dealt with DC tourists. I swear taking a trip to DC drops your IQ by at least 30 points.

How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat?

I actually voted for the "interrupting" option. Mostly because it's the only thing my perfect wife does ... I'm pretty quiet, if I'm moved to share something ... just let me finish the story!

Apparently only living in the WH causes the effect.

Dave Barry discovered this phenomenon some time back and wrote an article about it.

And I'd like to think becoming a tourist drops their IQ, because otherwise you all coming to DC are just dumb as shit and should be ashamed of yourself.

For example, if someone says "Passing on your left", the proper thing to do is move to the right. The exact wrong thing to do, which 99% of tourists do, is move to the left so that they almost get run down.

I have a friend who does this to me. I'm telling her a story and she keeps interjecting answers to my sentences lol. Then I have to stop to say "no" and then continue. Just let me talk!
