Sunday is the first day of the week, it's not an opinion. |
"According to international standard ISO 8601, Monday is the first day of the week. It is followed by Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Sunday is the 7th and final day.
Although this is the international standard, several countries, including the United States, Canada, and Australia consider Sunday as the start of the week."
Hmm. Seems like an opinion to me.

Yes, but ISO 8601 also states that calendar dates should be in YYYY-MM-DD in extended form or YYYYMMDD in basic form. Since nobody commonly does this outside of when I'm saving a new version of a file (I use basic form), then the whole world just tells ISO 8601 to go fuck itself.
