I'm the overly cautious driver that always lets people go and makes them nervous and confused, and drives slightly under the speed limit at all times.
Driving terrifies me |
I used to be pretty nervous in the city especially.

Typically in town I'll drive the speed limit.
On the highway it depends. I'll usually drive 5-7 over. Though if its a 75 mph zone which was very common in Texas and is the speed limit of the HWY between Lawton and OKC I will usually just go maybe 1 or 2 over. Avoid going 80 overall.
I don't mind driving on the HWY between cities but when I get in the city and traffic picks up I get very anxious. |
How do you keep from getting run over in Texas staying under 80?
|
They are nuts. That last 40 miles before you get into houston is the worst. 90 mph is the flow of traffic.
I'll speed up but stay in the slow lane. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

They have nice roads. Oklahoma and MO don't have roads that are decent enough for me to want to go above 80.

Yup it's so obvious when you get into OK because the roads turn to shit | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I drove all the way through ok to Texas and back a couple of years ago and had to get my car realigned when I got home.

I'm honestly such an asshole driver. Very safe, but I usually go 15-20 over and I get really mad and tailgate when people cruise in the fast lane. I'm definitely more chill when I'm not on the highway, but when you get me on the freeway I definitely live up to the California stereotype. |
I'm the opposite, I'm usually chill on the freeway, off it everything pisses me off.

No Hurry. Northern Virginia and DC traffic doesn't move anyway. I get paid to sit in traffic, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
