I put cheese, ketchup, mayo, bacon, lettuce and pickles.
But this question is hard because I like pretty much everything on this list (aside from onions which are disgusting), but I like them in different combinations.

When feeling crazy, I make the following at home:
Make two ground beef patties, then stuff crumbled bacon, grilled onions, and shredded cheddar cheese between the patties.
Sear in a cast-iron skillet, then finish in the oven to cook to about medium and to make sure to melt all the cheese in the middle.
Serve topped with roasted new mexico chilis and a little ketchup/mustard.

Cheese
Bacon
BBQ Sauce (Ketchup if BBQ not available)
Mustard
Mayo
Onions (grilled only)

BBQ, mayo AND mustard together? What does that taste like? |
Depending on your BBQ style, the mustard makes it more like a Carolina mustard sauce. Mayo makes the bun moist. | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |

While I do get all my Steaks medium rare, I usually go medium-well for my burgers.
Growing up in Canada burgers we're always well done. I've had burgers on the rarer side and they were okay, but I wasn't crazy about it. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

If I bite into my burger and it doesn't ooze melted cheese and blood, then I need to rethink my life choices. |

You still need to rethink your life choices, just not your burger choices.
