I keep reading this as bicaramel mind and it gets me hungry.
Haven't seen the episode yet | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I think Maeve was definitely supposed to leave by whoever programmed her to (for whatever reason). Bernard said her goal was to head to the mainland so her turning back was proooobably off the script
Who do we think programmed her to leave and why?

Or maybe it's Elsie and Stubbs hiding away in some cave.

Do you think we'll get that look at SWorld in season two or was that just a throwaway world so audiences would know about the other parks? Will we see another world in season two, SWorld or otherwise? | nav is ugly and i am pretty |

I was under the impression that that was Ford as well. Her escape coincided perfectly with Ford clearing out the host storage area, so it feels like that was an elaborate distraction
Only thing that makes me question it is that part where part of her narrative is in the mainland. Seems unnecessary to even have that step if she was JUST a distraction. But I guess it could've still been part of Ford's further plans and it's the one part that failed since she decided to turn back? OR her deciding to turn back was part of his plan, but wasn't scripted, because he said many times that suffering has been a key to the hosts' consciousness, so it could've been his way of giving her consciousness after she fulfilled her duty. Maybe a little farfetched though just because he would've had to know that the mom/daughter would be on the train and she would see them

I definitely think we will. It'd be too much of a tease to go to the trouble of showing that if they weren't gonna show more worlds later

I think they are setting up the spin off for this show well ahead of time. Eastworld, aye.

That was amazing. Now that the season is over I can safely say this is my new favourite show. It's so refreshing to see a quality sci fi on TV again. I don't think there has been one since Battlestar Galactica. It is good to see HBO going in a new direction too.
Perfect finale too. Some of the twists were once again predictable, but there were some real surprises tonight, at least for me. William as MIB was increasingly obvious over the past few episodes, but Dolores being Wyatt I did not see coming, and that whole last scene was a total mind bender.
I had a feeling Ford was going to die from the start of the show. I figured he was such a big name that it would be hard to pin him down for more than one season. He was great.
I think my favourite scene was Dolores gaining consciousness and talking to herself. Also, lol at the title of this episode. That theory I read a while back seemed to be on the mark.
There was a nice callback to the original movie when those operatives were locked in the control room. Also, I recall predicting tattoo lady would fulfill the role of the Gunslinger from the original. She kind of did.
And props to the music once again. They use it with purpose. Exit music over the last scene of the season. Perfect.
I think I might have missed the post credit scene...what happened?
One more thing, regarding the show going forward. I too am wondering how they are going to find enough material to fill 5 seasons. There is definitely more story to tell I'm sure, but I hope this show doesn't spiral into a confusing mess like Lost did.

Loved the finale. Such a great show. I had a feeling Delores was Wyatt but wasn't sure how they Wilde out it together.
The end credit scene was delightful. |
