I am so over Arya in Bravos. One of the most entertaining characters has become a bore to watch because her story is progressing at a snails pace. That play scene was pretty great, though it went on a bit longer than necessary.

The last segment with the White Walkers was brilliantly shot. Tense as fuck too.

But yeah, I was laughing all the way through those final minutes. It was pretty obvious they were setting up an explanation to the origin of Hodor's name a few episodes ago. I can't say it was a question I was at all interested in knowing the answer to. Sure, you can say it was more about demonstrating that Bran has the ability to directly alter events in the past, but I can think of a bunch of better ways that could have been done!

RIP Hold The Door

What an episode, this episode opens up so many theories now

Did Bran go back in time 4000 years ago to warn Bran the Builder to build the wall from the White Walkers? Also Bran the Builder built Winterfell and is essentially the first Stark so he could have also created the Stark name through time travel

Did Bran whisper to the Mad King Aerys, maybe try to warn him not to go to war with, thus leading to Aerys going mad and inevitably going to war triggering Robert's Rebellion?

Do the Red Priests/Priestesses hear Bran whisper to them of warnings from the future?

Does Bran essentially train Bloodraven to become the Three eyed raven who inturn trains Bran to become one?

Essentially Bran could have influenced so much of history

I would love a lost reference

Apparently captain America had an arrested development reference so anything is possible

Pretty good episode but I did not like that random thrown in children of the forest creating the white walkers. Didn't really make sense.

Also the kingsmoot was pretty rush too.

Other than that it was really good! I knew about the Hodor death because it took me almost a week to watch it but it was still pretty exciting.
