I heard there's significant framedrops on both consoles...the PS4 gets fucked during shooting and scoping, xbone just can't stream fast enough from the harddis......stutter stutter stutter!

Picked up Fallout 4, Mario Maker, and Wind Waker HD as my free game.

Time to shuffle stuff around so that I can install Fallout.

played it for a little bit before work

the thing auto-set my graphics and was like "okay you're good on ultra quality." felt good.

didn't do much other than character creation and a bit of the very early game, haven't even left the vault yet.

SO FAR IT'S GOOD

i smacked a radroach to death. that was satisfying.

i like all the voice acting a lot. not sure how i feel about the dialogue wheel thing yet though.

I would have never made it to work.

Heard they have massively improved the voice acting, which was a bag of steaming shit in Fallout 3.

Really want to get this, but I ain't sure my computer can run it...its getting old. It did run Skyrim though, so who knows. I can't risk buying it though.

I guess it's finally time to get that PS4.

Right now it's running okay but I think I'll have some issues with actual combat and fighting.

I can't decide tbh if it's worth keeping up with for now. FPS games are already kind of awkward on my laptop and this isn't exactly laggy but it doesn't seem to be FAST. I also kinda hate the dialogue wheel controls. A lot of long load times.

HOWEVER, the cinematic at the beginning ran very smooth, and things don't look terrible even on low settings. I'm sure there's a lot to gain at higher settings but I don't feel like anything is LOST at low settings.

I'm not sure when I get to hear if the game knows my name I picked yet. I stopped for a while because I took so long making the couple

I have a pretty decent rig and it set my graphics to medium. It's buggy so far but that's Bethesda for you.

My robot calls me by my name. I just named my character Tim.

I'm just a few minutes away from my two hours to refund so I didn't get to find my robot yet. I spent a very long time on my couple so the small caterpillar they call our son would look interesting.

I think I'm just going to forge ahead though. I think with some tweaks and a lower difficulty to make up for the lag, it will be worth playing. And this way that 13 hour download wasn't for nothing

Due to a hilarious misunderstanding I refund requested this then had to cancel it because when my dad told me in a cryptic text that he ordered a copy I didn't realize he decided to start gaming again for the first time since the 90s.

This incident solidified my decision to keep the game tho.

Brian what are your specs out of curiosity? Mine ended up on high quality
