I'd rather they didn't delay the other movies or release a full on spidey movie tbh.

That's one of the reasons why I don't like this. Another is that I prefer having Spider-man being on his own, Spider-man like the X-Men are better off on their own since in Spider-man's case, most of his stories focus on him dealing with his own problems and that kind of rubs off when he teams up with people that fought gods, in the X-Men's case, most of their stories focus on prejudice and acceptance, and it doesn't work well with the Avengers and Spider-man. Sure you might think that this is going to be great for the MCU but this is going to shit even more on Spider-man and his incorporation in MCU may cause problems. Hell this MCU thing being a cash cow on steroids is becoming more problematic, one it is encouraging other studios to do stupid shit like Sony and Spider-man for example. Sony tried to make a "MCU" out of Spider-man and failed horribly with TASM2 and went to Marvel begging for its help to still take advantage of the comic movie craze with his incorporation in the MCU. Warner Bros saw this and trying to milk the hell out of DC making this shitty Batman vs Superman Justice League movie in the most inappropriate time. Now Fox is considering to do the same with the rights they have, FF and X-Men don't go together well, leave them separate. Never liked crossovers, Ironman, Cappy Murica, Hulk, and Thor in the Avengers were fine and that was enough. From the looks of it, Phase 2 is probably the peak of success, sure it may be good so far (I enjoyed Cappy Murica 2 and Iron-man 3, Studdup fans I don't care if the Mandarin is fake, and they were lucky with the Guardians of the Galaxy, and I think that movie was overrated. Ant-man looks problematic from its production) but the seeds have been sowed, Phase 3 is likely going to be terrible and hopefully the cash cow dies soon so we can move on, if Hollywood doesn't get bankrupt by then.

Somebody should trademark that name and make a parody of him.

It can go like this. Cappy Murica is a failed super soldier experiment that fought in the Iraqui war, the result of the experiment caused his testicles to shrink, gave him a squiky voice and he became obese instead of muscular, and he has to deal with PTSD afterward, then the government had to call him to deal with ISIS, he fights this terrorist call The Red Raghead (that's the codename the Americans will call him, no offense Islam people), he has this bloodied turban from beheading journalists too much and wants to look scary, the two then fight, Cappy Murica trips because he can't watch his feet since he can't see through the fat stomach and somehow the two fall into quicksand that preserve them, they get revived in the far dystopian future, where everyone is retarded, by the only genius scientist in the world. The Red Raghead goes rogue and tries to get people to join his terrorist group and Cappy Murica has to stop him.

It doesn't stop there, since everyone in the future are fat and stupid and have nothing much to do with their shitty lives other than watching crappy reality tv and sending each other messages about what they eat, the genius scientist decides to capitalize on Cappy Murica and make him a superhero, since people don't know any better they cheer and adore him and buy his stupid merchandise.

That took a dark turn. I thought Cappy Murica was going to be a lovable scamp with a big hat.

I'm sorry Zersch, we can have the cute version "Cappy A" and the big hat can have a giant cute capital A on it.

Capital A is too aggressive. Lowercase a would be preferable.
And instead of being in the Marvel Universe I want him to crossover with Sunday comics.
With Dilbert and Ziggy and Garfield specifically.

This is exactly how I feel. Spider-Man is interesting because he's a young man dealing with grown-up responsibilities, his girlfriend, his job, caring for his aunt, etc. None of that meshes with the collaborative nature of the MCU, and what I feel to be the very shallow, cartoony nature of the Marvel movies. X-Men has always been about the allegory, and if you think the MCU cares about that, you're fooling yourself. It's never been about more than action and beating up bad guys. | Nintendo Network ID: EctoCooler47 |

They can still pull that off in his own story in 2017. I am kinda worried what they mean by "fresh take" on the character
