Finished. Amazing series. I'm with Boc with this one being right up there with TWD S1. I had so much FUN playing this and it made for a nice contrast from the depressing and dark. The characters were so great, top to bottom. Definitely makes me want to play Borderlands again too.

Episode 2 Choices

FIONA - I told Sasha to help Rhys. Figured it was more important to help control the driving since I could handle the action sequences for the Rakks. - I selected Haliwan for the caravan. It was one of the two that was $200, which was the cheapest. That was the main reason. - I did not peak at Sasha's gift. Saw no reason to. - I shot Fince with fire damage. Kind of random. RHYS - Told Vaughn about Handsome Jack. I mean it's obviously going to come up throughout the game so may as well be honest about it right away. - I went to Old Haven first to meet with Fiona and Sasha. - I bro fisted Vaughn... why not! The loader bot giving us a bro first too was funny. I do wonder what the hell would have happened had the Loader Bot died in Episode 1, which was my original choice in my original game. He was a big part of this episode. - I trusted Jack over Fiona. I... didn't really understand what Fiona was trying to do. Jack said he could hack all the robots and they were about to kill everyone so I figured that would be the better choice. I already know Handsome Jack is super evil and mean but I don't really see him fucking us over quite yet. He will eventually.

Episode 3 Choices

FIONA - Agreed that Athena should kill Cassius. Something about him seemed OFF! And I figured it was better safe than sorry to get rid of him now than for him to come up as someone who could fuck everything up for us later. Guess it didn't matter cause he survived. - Let Vallory help me up because... I dunno? RHYS - I made a tentative alliance with Jack - I gave Sasha the flower - I refused to let go of Sasha

Episode 4 Choices

FIONA - Honored Scooter with his catchphrase. I was so shocked over this scene tbh. Scooter was a pretty important NPC in Borderlands 2 so I expected him to be 100% safe and just hanging aorund for comic relief. For him to have such a sad sendoff caught me completely off guard. I even traded hats with him! - I let the tour group get vaporized. They were fucking annoying and I wanted to get rid of them. - I shot the pony. RHYS - I claimed to search the database, against what I said before of just telling the truth about Jack. Not sure why I didn't this time. I knew it was going to come up very soon so I kind of regret this. - I brought Dumpy out against Yvette cause Dumpy is fucking funny - I chose to rule Hyperion with Rhys. Is it going to end horribly? Yes. Is it going to end up alienating all my good friends? Yes. Am I going to have to probably fight Jack away anyway? Yes. But fuck it, it's been Rhys' whole mission to take over Hyperion, why the fuck would I stop when it's staring him in the face? I want the power!

Finale Choices

FIONA - Let Finch bleed out. I figured shooting him would blow my cover. Eh. On another note, it's so funny hearing Dave Fennoy voice all these mean and nasty characters in every Telltale game since Lee. - I apparently told Rhys to shut up and I'm not sure when this was a choice or why. - I shipped Rhys and Sasha... why not! RHYS - Destroyed AI Jack and I'm shocked only 50% did this. This was such a powerful scene and moment. Why WOULDN'T you kill Jack once and for all after everything? Kinda curious what happens if you don't though. - I confessed to crushing on Sasha... once again, why not? No official decision of Yvette? I let her rot in the cell. I'm surprised there wasn't more to this. VAULT TEAM - Went with Athena, August and Zero. Athena was obvious. August, though he was an asshole all game, was such a pivotal part of the story I felt like he had to be part of the finale. And Zer0 since he's a badass. I'm.... really confused about Felix being an option here and curious how that affects the ending, especially with the whole mystery surrounding Sasha's gift.

Overall, so so so so good. Loader Bot ending up being the stranger was such a strange but hilarious twist that I loved. Gortys was great. The aspect of playing as two different characters with polarizing personality traits made each segment fresh, especially with Rhys who I was more inclined to be a jackass as. Vaughn's story was great and a nice surprise as I 100% had him pegged as dead even when I played the original time. I really hope there is another adaption to this with a new pair of player characters and Rhys/Fiona as NPC's with personalities depending on your choices.

I'm playing borderlands now because of this. I suck at shooters so I find it a little challenging but it is pretty fun. Only an hour or so in.

Purchased the Steve mask What happened to the Loader Bot? Told that MF to self destruct. Did you trust Sasha? Didn't trust Sasha Which did you choose? Chose Vaughn What Loader Bot did you request? Machine Gun and Grenades I loved the first episode. The writing is hilarious and the whole episode felt very Mad Max meets Ocean's Eleven. I was worried that my limited Borderland knowledge would hinder my experience but I can say it did at all. I can see what Curtis says about the lack of impact on choices but I've always felt that when you boil it down, the choices in TT aren't that impactful overall. :D The game knows what it is and has a lot of fun with it, never taking itself too seriously. It's great because it allows me to have more fun with my decision making rather than constantly stress out like in other choice based games.
