Just watched In the Mouth of Madness yesterday, it's crazy as hell. Definitely worth a watch.

ha I know right? I recall seeing it on TV when I was young...like 10 maybe 11, and I thought it was pretty cool to see the guy from Jurassic Park go batshit insane! good memories of old fashioned horror. since my girlfriend asked for a good horror movie, I'm gonna rewatch it now

Anyone heard of a new movie called The Babadook? It's getting stellar reviews so far, with 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

BABADOOK seems like an asshole. Like, chill the fuck out 'DOOK.

Sounds like some Eastern European folkloric monster, like Baba Yaga or something.

Has there been any horror movie in the last year or so? I haven't been paying attention.

I immediately thought of Chadarnook from Final Fantasy VI.

Looking in my external hard drive the only 2014 horror movies there are loosely horror. Willow Creek, the Blair Witch style Bigfoot movie and 13 Sins. The latter was a pretty cool suggestion from Curtis.

I'm sure there are more out there, but none that I've watched yet.

I really need to proof-read my posts because my question would make any grammarian* cry.

I'm always eager for the next big thing in modern horror movies. At this point I feel like I've seen all the classics. I'll look into both of those movies.



*Yes, apparently grammarian is a real thing.
