Seriously, where is Rickon |
Heading to the Karstarks with Osha iirc
Which...didn't the Karstarks denounce the Starks because of Robb killing Rickard? Or I guess they're willing to forgive and forget now that Robb is dead? BOOK READERS?? |
OH. I thought they were heading for Castle Black for some reason. It was bothering me that they didnt get there yet.

The line about Robert slapping Tywin on the back made me really wish those two shared a scene together

Michelle McLaren directed this episode, the great "One Minute" Breaking Bad director and I thought she did a great job with this one. Not happy how they handled the Littlefinger scheme reveal however (preferred the way it was handled in the books). But I thought Bran's scenes were great. HODOR ripping through Locke was great.
Dany scene was bleh, but just her discussing invading King's Landing alone was exciting, then she decides to say FUCK it I want to stay here to be a better ruler etc etc.
The King's Landing scenes were all well done.

The revelation of the Littlefinger/Lysa scheme was interesting but so sloppily done (: She all of the sudden decides to just blurt out this whole scheme out of nowhere. Usually they do a lot better with their exposition. |
I agree, it was poorly done.
Good ep though. I don't mind the change in pace these past few episodes. It is welcome after the breakneck start to the season.
Also, it seems that the Red Wedding is really starting to have its impact on the show. It didn't really become obvious until now given that this season started off with another shocking twist. But the show feels very different now. It no longer has the central theme of the war between the Stark's and Lannisters holding it together. Rather the focus seems to be the Lannisters ruling in King's Landing.
