this might sound dumb, but anyone know how to get a controller to connect with steam? I have an afterglow controller that just plugs into the USB slot. For my emulated games, it always works. Can't seem to get it to work for Steam though. Any thoughts?

I don't think you should need to do anything, I think it just depends on the game. I remember being able to just plug-and-play a 360 controller for HL2

thanks, i just had to change the configuration in-game. figured it out though!

That's what I remember! Maybe I had to enter something on the in-game console too, I dunno

Everyone should get Half-Life 2 if they haven't played it yet. Only $2.50 right now!

Half Life 2 is the first game I get on steam. I still have not played it. For some reason it was really wonky for me, but that was on the PC that eventually exploded
