I'm late to this. I was just about to bring the article, but slow.

Anyways, I'm not upset with the twists and, like Curtis has touched on, I think they will bring about a LOT of interesting scenarios. One of those being what KC mentioned on if people will backstab their own significant player in order to advance themselves. Will every alliance involve their significant player or will someone be smart and just go with whatever happens significant player or not.

You can't really tell them before the game "Hey if we're both playing the game, don't force me into alliances when it might not be good for you. Be free." because that will just lose the 100% trust you should have...but if you don't then you could very well be ruining a friendship forever...or a relationship. Hard one to plan on. It might be a hindrance having someone close to you there because you'll die by their side.

Anyways, that stuff I'm fine with and the whole day 0 surviving outside and fighting elements and then 2 people being voted off as soon as getting on tribes is definitely interesting....will be interested to see it play out and likely a returning player will be voted out first, with any luck, Colton.

But the cast...just so bizarre. With some of them, I can't tell if they put the returner on because they wanted their significant player or if they brought the significant player to get the returner.

Happy to see Tyson for sure and then I don't mind seeing Laura and I'm stoked to see Kat back though not the person she's with...I guess it will be interesting to see Hayden play...

I didn't even know Tyson was coming back and when I heard I was STOKED. My top 3 for sure. He's so candid and just witty...matched with a great physical game and surprisingly not that bad of a strategical one makes him a great returnee and I was just waiting for them to bring him back.

I'm more interested than anything to see Gervase back, much like Skupin. I don't know how he'll do and this isn't the BEST season to return on when you haven't played for 13 years, but he's back...

Some of these people I just have no idea why...like what makes them a returnee, but whatever.

I think that's all for now...OH Candice and Kat both look like old women...

I'm interested in Candice, but mostly because she's 2 for 2 on the "Making a retarded move that more or less instantly ends your game" chart.

In a perfect world, the following scenario would take place.

Someone: "Hey, Candice, whatever you do, don't do [Thing X], or you will completely and totally f*** the game up for yourself and everybody else."
Candice: "Obviously, I need to do [Thing X]."
Someone: "No, seriously, Candice. You could not possibly do anything dumber than [Thing X]. A two-year-old could figure this out."
Candice: "I've never been more sure that [Thing X] is the best plan ever."
John: *bitchslaps Candice* "FOR CHRISSAKES, BITCH, THIS IS YOUR THIRD TIME. SMARTEN UP."

Then all of us who watched Candice ruin HVV would finally feel vindicated for having to suffer through so many extra episodes of Hantz.

Any episodes of Hantz is not suffering.

Also, Candice has been so bad. I didn't like her in Cooks either.

Plus, I feel like so many of these returning players have played together already. I want new clashes.

But I also hated the FvF cast and it turned out alright so I'll keep an open mind. But aside from Tyson, I don't feel there are really any "characters" on that front. That's why I'm mostly disappointed.

I don't get Candice's popularity at all. She was a stupid bimbo who decided to throw her game away to get Adam's dick. How'd that work out for ya? Her time in HvV is a blur to me, but I'm the only one I know who liked Aitu in Cooks and that kind of baffles me tbh.

Ozzy = Cocky egotist who threw a challenge on DAY SIX to get out the most harmless person in the game.
Yul = Captain Bland, with an unkillable idol.
Sundra = Captain Bland's sidekick, Boring Girl.
Becky = Who?

Raro might have been full of OTT twentysomethings who were unbelievably cocky and got exactly what they had coming to them, but they made for much better television than the Aitus, who were the television equivalent of a three-hour lecture on the difference between beige and ecru.

I'm really excited to see Tina and Aras so fuck da haters, because I love them both to bits and pieces and I just want them to succeeeeeeeed.

And I don't know - like Tina really loves the game and I feel like she's going to be super fierce coming in the game and trying to improve her first to worst all-stars failure.

/shrug I thought Yul was pretty great personally. He's probably one of my favorite winners.

I wasn't crazy about the other three but I hated Raro so much that I just wanted to see them reach their downfall.
