If Nobert reflected Curtis's kill and made him kill himself Ari woud have never been attacked. Plus the flavour would have Curtis killing himself if his kill got reflected onto himself.

on the off chance that you really just don't understand im going to post this

mime/=reflect

mime in this case copy's what someone does, then the mime does that thing the person just did back to them.
reflect would have the kill happen to the killer and not there target

lets take a scan and explain how that would work in these cases

a mime who picks someone who scans someone, the scanner gets there result and the mime gets a scan of the scanner
a reflector picks a scanner, the scanner does not get the result of there target, instead they get a scan result of themselves.
