Well, that's a way to interpret it.

A more accurate way though would be about me waiting to see if Zersch would still be inactive at that time.

I fully recognize that your situation could just as easily be that of a townie who wasn't the wiser and simply chose wrong. It just also happens to be the textbook situation of a scum trying to save his mate too so yeah I'm using that in the absence of hard information.
